Morning sickness

Morning sickness is nausea, sometimes with vomiting, likely caused by hormones released during pregnancy. Morning sickness occurs most often during the first several months of pregnancy.

Sometimes the nausea and vomiting are worse in the morning. But symptoms can occur at any time of the day or night. Most people feel better in the second trimester. But some continue to feel ill throughout their pregnancies.
